About us & our household appliance servicing

Morgan Electrics and Gas is a family owned and operated business that was established in Geelong in 1965. Now in its third generation, the business has established a name for itself as a household appliance servicing and household appliance spare parts company that people can rely on and come back to.

At Morgan Electrics and Gas, we carry out all our work with the utmost professionalism and care. All our tradesmen are well trained and experienced in electrical and gas appliance servicing, repairs and spare parts.

While we offer a prompt and reliable mobile service, we also have a large workshop and office based in Geelong and, if it better suits our customers or they are out of our service range, they can bring appliances in to be checked by one of our licensed tradesmen.

Our Process

1. Booking Arranged

The customer contacts us to arrange a booking. Details about the appliance and the fault are collected.

2. Appointment Reminders

Leading up to the appointment, the customer receives email and text message reminders about their booking.

3. Technician Arrival Notification

On the day of the appointment, the customer receives a text message notifying them that the technician is on their way. This message includes a GPS-based estimate of the technician's arrival time.

4. Assessment and Repairs

Upon arrival, the technician assesses the appliance and performs the necessary work or repairs. If the work is completed during this visit, the customer has the option to pay on-site.

5. Further Work or Parts Needed

If additional parts or work are required, the customer is provided with a quote outlining the cost of parts and extra labor. The customer will also be informed of any expected delays in the arrival of parts.

6. Follow-Up Appointment

Once the required parts are available, a new appointment is scheduled. The technician returns to complete the repair.

7. Invoicing

After all work is completed, the customer is invoiced for the services provided.
